Wisconsin

We stopped at an A & W rootbeer stand just off the trail for lunch. Very cool!

Wisconsin

This is me on the trail.

This is the campground we stayed at. It was almost all pine trees and very nice. A KOA.

Wisconsin

Wisconsin has a lot of ATV riding opportunities. It has hundreds of miles of trails and some of the towns you could ride into town to get gas and eat lunch. A friend of mine and I were there about 11 years(!!) ago. It doesn't seem that long ago, but it was about 5 months before my wedding. I have some pictures that I will post from there.

If anyone has been there lately, I would like to hear how it is now. We were in Hayward and stayed at the KOA campground there. It was a great time, a long drive, but well worth it.

Perry State Forest

Perry is a little closer to me but not much. We usually go down there for a Saturday or Sunday ride and then come home. It is a fun place to ride and has a lot of free areas to ride in. It is also free(except for the Ohio stickers that are cheap and good for 3 years).

I have some old pictures that I will post when I have the time to scan them all.

Later!

Wayne National Forest

These pictures were all taken in Wayne National Forest near Nelsonville, Ohio.
I can't wait to go back hopefully in the spring or summer! It opens April 15th and is open until December 15 every year. It's a good place to ride.

A few more pictures

Here are 3 more pictures. As you can see it was a little muddy, but overall it wasn't too bad.

I'm still here

Hello,
I'm back finally. Our computer died back in July and we just got a new one a few weeks ago. I now have pictures of our trip to Wayne National Forest in Ohio to share. The picture above is what's left of our peanuts after the raccoon opened the Rubbermaid container and ate them while we were sleeping. He didn't even ask, we would have shared a few, maybe.

My atvs

I have 2 fourwheelers: A 2003 Polaris Scrambler and a 2003 Polaris Magnum 330 4x4. Ohio is where I call home and it has many riding areas, although most are at least 2 1/2 hours from me. We live on about 30 acres of farmland, so I can ride around the house.
I want to post some pictures of a recent ride with my brother in law, but i took them with a regular camera and don't have a scanner anymore.
We spent the weekend at Wayne Nat'l Forest near Logan and had a great time. The trails were much better than last time I was there. The maps could use some work, because new ones don't have the intersection numbers on them.
We also ride at Perry State Forest, which is the place I've been to the most. It is reclaimed strip mine and is gets very muddy when it rains.

I will get pictures on here as soon as I can.
